One consideration that applies to go karts for both kids and adults is cost. How much money can you realistically spend on a go kart? Is it a few hundred dollars, or a few thousand? You can find some great kids go karts for a few hundred dollars, but just realize that they won’t have the same quality or durability as the more expensive ones and they certainly won’t be competitive for track racing if that’s something your child is interested in.
That said, remember that if your child is driving it, they probably won’t take care of it as well as you might like. So on one hand it might be better to get an inexpensive one and plan on replacing it later. On the other hand you can buy a more expensive model and hope that it can withstand any punishment your child throws at it!
Go Karts for Kids- Where Will They be Driving?
Where is your child mainly going to be driving? Will this go kart be for off-roading, or just for driving around a parking lot or neighborhood?
